| Reggae Recipe / reggae club / website Reggae Recipe is an Amsterdam-based club and dj-team -of which I'm the co-founder- organising parties and live gigs related to the early Jamaican music, from the beginning in the late fifties to the early seventies. My concept is based on the fusion between the 'flavors' of that music and the 'sounds' of the Jamaican and Caribbean kitchen, not only in terms of image and copywriting but also in practice, treating our guest with irresistible snacks from the Caribbean tradition. I wanted the website to communicate the spirit of that concept: simple, rough, warm, friendly and... spicy! Something radically different from the usual red-gold-green/david star/lion of judah/haile selassie pastiche reoccurring in 99% of the reggae websites worldwide. And people seem to love it!
